Managing people is tough! 


People don't necessarily set out to be a people manager; you trained hard in your chosen specialism and excelled so you rose through the ranks or you set up a business in this specialism.

 

The ‘natural’ progression is to be promoted to managing a team, or you decide your business can only grow through hiring people and you find yourself leading a team.


But leading a team adds a whole new skill set and can be a very steep learning curve you often learn the ‘hard way’ without the right support in place and it can feel like a very lonely place to be at times.


You feel the need to have all the answers, and the buck stops with you when it comes to decision-making and managing clients.

 

You need to manage what feels like ‘everything’, make sure the team is happy, and then figure out what to do when someone is underperforming.

 

The list of responsibilities you feel on your shoulders is never-ending and that can be stressful and overwhelming!

How do we get started?

Coaching is very personal and finding the right coach is important so I offer a complementary, no obligation 30 minute call for us to get to know each other better and understand more about what you want to achieve from coaching, for you to understand more about my approach to coaching and how we could work together.

What time commitment is required?

It is important to commit to the process to get the results and coaching generally works best when the sessions are regular and kept consistent. You’ll need time put aside for the sessions, but you will also need some time between sessions to do your own reflection. We’ll agree the frequency of the sessions prior to commencing the programme so you have an expectation of how much time you will need to put aside in advance.
