Hello, I'm Deborah Barrett, Founder, Coach, and HR Consultant at Freedom HR Consulting. I offer independent HR expertise to SMEs, giving you the confidence to get the best from your people, whilst enabling you to focus on improving or growing your business.
The ethos of Freedom HR Consulting is to keep it simple, flexible, and human.
It's very easy for example for HR to be perceived as box-ticking with policies that are too rigid, and not reflective of the culture or the commercial needs of a business. I will advise and support you to ensure you are compliant with legislation, but always combined with putting your business and your people at the forefront.
Every business is unique (and people are too!). Employee engagement and the experience you provide for employees (and potential employees) has never been more important. This is why ensuring you have the structures and frameworks in place to ensure you can hire, engage, and retain the right people in the right places is vital.
I bring that same ethos and expertise to helping my coaching clients, whether that's on a personal 1:1 basis, or to assist you and your emerging business leaders. With a Level 5 qualification in Effective Coaching and Mentoring, from the Institute of Leadership and Management, I can provide you with all that you need to explore in a safe space the challenges and obstacles, that may be holding you and your team back, and preventing you from your business achieving its full potential.

If you are based in Bristol and the surrounding area, I can work face-to-face, at your workplace, or remotely, or of course a bit of both. If you are further afield, I can offer a remote service.
